The Magnificent Western Cape Hotel and
Spa Reopens
The
world-renowned Arabella Western Cape Hotel recently reopened its
AltiraSpa after a complete refurbishment of the spa and its
luxurious facilities. The new spa concept was based on creating
something of Africa, for Africa, where its new signature
treatment, The African Rainforest Experience (a sensory water and
steam treatment using African products and inspired by African
rains), forms its centrepiece.
The refurbishment of the Spa included an upgrade of all treatment
rooms and communal areas, in which the spa boasts 15 treatment
rooms including that of a sauna, steam room, hydrotherapy pool and
fully equipped fitness centre. The state-of-the-art facilities
include the ‘quartz carpet’; a specially designed floor covering
that caresses one’s feet with warmth, but is non-slip when wet.
Guests are spoilt for choice when it comes to the spa’s treatment
menu, where some of the groups international signature treatments
have been introduced, where their skilled, professional therapists
focus on creating a gift of sensory perfection that leads to
