The Sanctuary Escape by Elemis

I was fortunate to experience the new Sanctuary Escape by Elemis at the world class Sanctuary Spa at the 12 Apostles hotel in Cape Town.

It was a multi sensory experience with exotic fragrances of frangipanis and skin nourishing milk bath, gentle rhythmic movements to provide me with a 90 minute unique holistic aromatic journey for my tired mind, body and soul.

The highly qualified therapist, Pumeza, treated my whole body with body brushing, strong flowing massage movement to symbolise flowing water, hot stone massage, mini facial, ending off with my favourite head and scalp massage. Being a qualified therapist myself, I am the worst of critics but all the elements together with the aromatic products from Elemis, combined beautifully to give me the ultimate top to toe indulgence.

I arrived about an hour before my treatment to make use of the flotation tank, steam room and to unwind and was able to lie and relax afterwards and take in the quiet environment. The whole experience was about 3 hours and was worth every cent.

I would highly recommend this treatment for highly stressed individuals or as a perfect gift for a loved one, male or female. Well done to Elemis and The Sanctuary group, you have created a wonderful environment and treatment for our discerning spa goers.
