Constantia Uitsig Spa

Constantia Uitsig has recently opened its luxurious spa, on
the 32 hectare wine estate nestled in the shadow of Table
Mountain, only 20 minutes from Cape Town. Constantia Uitsig is one
of seven wine farms which make up the Constantia Valley Wine Route
and is the home to some of South Africa’s finest wines and world
renowned, La Colombe restaurant, so the spa seems an apt addition
to this estate.
The Uitsig Spa has been designed with a sense of space continually
in mind. The classical décor and simple colours convey a sense of
peacefulness, which embraces each guest on arrival. The sound of
running water emanates from the courtyard fountain, and splashes
of red in the tranquil lounge terrace inspire warmth and a sense
of returning to a trusted retreat. Being fortunate to visit Uitsig
Spa in September, I certainly would recommend the signature
treatment, Les Aromes du Vin. All ingredients for this treatment
are drawn from the estate and blended and crushed in front of you,
so combining the age-old tradition of wine blending with the
science of Aromatherapy, to create the bouquet of the body scrub
that exfoliates, renews and revitalises the body. Thereafter a
full body massage, ensures complete relaxation, as one appreciates
nature’s grand designs.
Other treatments include: a full range of facial and body
treatments, manicures, pedicures and men’s grooming treatments.
The unique Hydro-therapeutic Ozone Jet bath has powerful
antioxidant properties, so lifting, energising and repairing the
